If you are going for a more minimalistic look, then left, or else right.
The left one looks a lot better in my opinion.
Yes, the door locks looks kinda bad, maybe chage it up. More detail for it instead of just a hole.
The cylinders (right) look better and are overall more accurate to old-school style prison doors.
Maybe flatten the cylinders out a little so they’re not so bulky? Overall good builds.
Add some screws, rectangular outlines that deepen in (The more darker gray rectangles show this), a more sophisticated keyhole (In the drawing I just made a traditional one), and by the way, will it be swinging door or a sliding door?
Crude 2 min drawing I whipped up to explain what I meant.
Alright, thanks for telling me! And no, I plan to make the door look like Stateview’s prison door where if you click on the door, it’ll be pretty transparent.
Mhm, and happy birthday to you!
Thank you very much! Means a lot to me!
As of right now, I got the lock done. Textures, color, and the material will be added once I’m done. I’m stuck and wondering if I need to negate the lock part and union around the dark gray part or anything to make it look good. Thanks! (Help is needed.)
It looks a LOT better. The material (pebble?) looks off, so might need to change that. The keyhole would also look better negated all the way. Good luck!
The one on the right looks more realistic so I guess it would be the best.
This look way better you should use that!
I already decided I am doing the right but thanks for your vote.
If you’re talking about the lock on the door, thanks! Currently, I am making some adjustments. Once I finish, I’ll add material and throw some textures on it, and hopefully, it looks good in the end. Thanks for your opinion on it.
