Why the Asset ID is so long

This is the 5 time I have posted, here is my question:

As the title, why the Asset ID is so long? Is this normal?

Short answer, yes, that’s normal.

Longer answer, Roblox recently changed / will change asset ID generation to be non-sequential. Some asset types already do it, maybe all do now:

[Update] August 7, 2024 Hi Creators, We will be changing the logic for Asset ID creation. Currently, when new assets are created, the Asset IDs are generated in an increasing sequence. In 2 weeks, the logic for newly created assets will change to be non-sequential. This change will help with the scalability of our system.
