i heard that roblox has moderation for in-game assets and scripts, including unpublished games. if i try to detect “funny” numbers like 420 or 69, would roblox nuke my account?
It would depend on what you do with it, but in general, I wouldn’t do it unless I was making some kind of detection system for in-game moderation reasons, or if I needed it for a legitimate purpose like as part of a code for a door. Using these numbers as a trigger for some kind of easer egg might be fine but I still probably wouldn’t do it.
By the way, Roblox doesn’t moderate scripts unless there’s something in the script that is inappropriate that could be seen by a player, so having a swear word in a comment won’t get you banned, but having a script that puts a swear on a textlabel will.
no, games use it a lot with codes or anything in game, as long as there is no malicious intent with the numbers there will be no punishments on the account. However roblox may not classify your game for all ages depending on what you do with it and you may have to make it 13+
Well you’re not off to a great start … As Xav said … no malicious intent would be the safe bet.
