Just because other people do it, doesn’t make it right. If someone robbed a bank and then someone else robbed a bank, they couldn’t just say, “But they did it too!”, and get away with it

It was never wrong in the first place, this game is actually not based of this pandemic, its based off my old simulator. So technically you could say Arsenal is based off WW2.
You know people actually like the game Plague Inc., because its a game, a game. Nothing to do with real-world events.

It’s an example, you can’t create a game and say the same excuse that other people did as well, it doesn’t make the situation better.
Let’s just summarise it simply.
Don’t make it, it will have a lot of negative backlash because it’s an unfortunate and ongoing tragedy affecting millions of people. Whether the release date is next year, it will still be recent and most people don’t let tragedies go after a year.
There is no set limit/date for a tragedy to end, it simply cannot end. In history or in people’s minds. Everyone has different feelings and a lot of people are deeply affected by viruses.
Finally, someone who actually understands. Tragedies can last for a long time. VERY long time.
Listen, first off, simulators are just cash grabs and is just a HORRIBLE experience to even play with. You making a game called, Vaccine Simulator, and if you think you will not get any hate from it, believe me, you willl! In many ways, the name itself is offensive, so please don’t. Simulators like these are just off the point man. I suggest not even making a simulator in the first place. Make a plan on a ORIGINAL game not a simulator. Simulators are dead now, that’s it.
Don’t take this as in a rude saying or anything offensive, it’s just my opinion to help you out.

But this game has nothing to do with the pandemic, nor is the point of the game about vaccines. Vaccines is just how to get money. But other stuff like tokens helps you travel. Traveling through times is the main thing,
There’s no set limit to overcome a tragedy, it will stick depending on the person.
It will always be there whether you like it or not.
As long as there’s no mention of a virus. Try making it like I mentioned on my first post, do it from a scientist’s point of view and call it ‘Scientist Simulator’
The word, “Vaccine”, what does it relate to? Where does it come from? Isn’t it involved with treatment and severe illness? What is going on the world right now? Think about those questions please!

I do not even know why you’re still here, I do not think this is hard to comprehend, The game is not about vaccines. That’s just the start. The game is about time traveling and you do not ‘give’ it or ‘inject’ it you just head over to the sell and boom, you have money. I understand I will get hate but its not against ToS and the game isn’t even about a tragedy. I just do not get why people are fighting. Point is, I don’t even think about releasing this. This is not based off any real world events, I just asked for feedback as in new features, maybe game modes etc…
Even if you do make a simulator, don’t make one related to offensive subjects.
The OP wants to make a game based off an idea about vaccination or bioscience or whatever similar, there is no direct reference to the pandemic nor any past pandemics.
It isn’t a tragedy based game, it’s just a game that coincidentally related to bioscience.

With the types of simulators out there already, there’s literally hundreds of other ideas that wouldn’t be as offensive as “Vaccine Simulator”. I agree with the other people here that think that this game isn’t the best idea. Maybe make it named “Science Simulator”. You’re a scientist trying to discover new plants, rocks, materials, etc. I don’t know. Don’t hate people for having an opinion or being overly sensitive about this topic. It’s a heavy topic to talk about right now and many of us have been deeply affected by the recent events.
