As a Roblox Translator it is very difficult to keep tabs on games you work on as the translator portal gets cluttered by random games.
I have originally made this feature request over a year ago. Instead of necrobumping it, I decided to expand on the issue. When I did so, things were still not as bad. Nowadays I need to keep a spreadsheet of links to games I actively work on as the translator portal is filled with random games that put in either the groups I am in or myself as allowlisted translators. Messaging those users almost never helps and makes the issue worse as they take offense to a polite message and double down on the abuse by adding translators to all of their experiences.
If Translators were to be able to hide the games that they’re not working on or outright be able to leave the allowlist, it would really help with clearing the clutter away and cut the time needed to find the game in your portal.
How we could go about it is simple. One of the solutions would be to add a “Hide” button next to “Reports” as shown below:
The hidden games could be accessible through the sorting dropbar with the option to unhide the games if needed. This is a simple solution that doesn’t really solve the problem but at least helps translators who use the portal on an almost daily basis and be a placeholder solution until the actual solution to the problem of people abusing the system is found.
If Roblox were to address the issue, this would make my and many other translator’s job much easier as we could work on updates for our games and clients much faster and help us clear our portals of clutter. This is an issue that has been very persistent since the translation portal was first introduced and will get even worse if not addressed.
