About The Job
We are looking for an advanced admin/chat system for an MMORPG game.
The system must have at least the following features:
Channels support:
- Area/Default (players within 50 studs + system messages)
- Party (only party members + system messages)
- System (only system messages)
- Server (channel used by admins to see all player messages)
Customizable name tags:
- Usernames should be processed through a server function before being replicated to other players.
- Example: Party or guild members could be a different color or have an icon next to their name.
RichText support:
- Text formatting (bold, italic, colors, etc.)
- Custom emojis using the :emoji_name: format (should be easy to add new emojis).
- Item embedding (advanced). Players should be able to embed an item of their choice to their messages, which can be inspected by hovering your mouse over it.
Message types:
- Basic:
- Server announcements (show on all channels).
- Cross-server announcements (show on all channels).
- System messages (exp received, quest progress, etc.)
- Etc.
- Advanced:
- Loot notifications. Should be a detailed list of looted items/money (they count as system messages).
- NPC messages. Should look very similar to player messages.
- It should be easy to make our own message types.
Chat commands with a permissions system:
- Level 0 users can run basic commands, such as ‘help’, ‘whisper’, ‘ignore’, etc.
- Level 1+ users can run admin commands, such as ‘cmdlogs’, ‘modlogs’, ‘warn’, ‘mute’, ‘kick’, ‘ban’, ‘tp’, etc.
- It should be easy to make our own commands.
Settings menu:
- List of ignored players.
- Font size.
- Max logged messages.
- Etc.
Additionally:
- The user interface should be responsive, easy to use, organized, customizable, animated and good-looking.
- The system should be 100% exploit-proof and modular.
- It should work and auto-scale on any device (PC, mobile, console).
- It should be possible to change the chat box size and position.
Payment
We are paying 1,500,000 Robux for this system (negotiable).
