Roblox is growing fast and there will be a lot more developers from around the world trying to cash out, it would be unfortunate if Roblox doesn’t support a payment method they’d prefer to use.
Paypal comes with high fees on top of more fees.
Transferring from wallet to wallet is also a pain and comes with unnecessary fees.
You can do that today. Wise just acts as a bank, it doesn’t require lock-in integration like with Paypal.
You can ask the DevEx folks to enable “select to be paid in a different country than the above” for you like below in Tipalti:
I did this in 2019 and it works great for Wise. We don’t need Roblox to implement anything special here. You just fill in your USD Wise credentials after setting up the above, and pay out via ACH.
Hi, where did you contact the DevEx support? Is it on their site or specifically a Roblox DevEx related email? I sent a email to roblox and they said they sent it to their DevEx specialists and that it takes 7-10 days to reply. It’s been 8 days now and still no reply so I’ll still wait. However I didn’t know that option was there so I didn’t ask for that specifically but rather I asked if they can add my bank information internally or something. I hope that they figure out that they can just enable that even though I didn’t ask for it.
