2 Players Coop Game [WIP]

Tried to play, server shut down because there was no one else there.

So far my experience in this game has been sub-par. There really needs to be a lobby.

The game shutdowns when your partner leaves.

I didn’t choose a partner.

I’ve yet to manage to play. First time I was orange, other player left while I was still anchored in place, getting the opening text. Second time, I was blue, game started, my camera was floating outside the map. I think the game fails to make it clear what’s happening, so people think it’s broken and leave.

Alright, finally got to play part of a round, made it to the “Don’t trust him”, then the other guy had to go. It’s kinda fun, but it’s hard to collaborate via chat.

Awesome game! Only criticism would be the puzzle with the moving cube and the trapdoor. That was far too difficult. :[

I’m making a lobby system where you can choose your partner.

Me and my girlfriend tried to play, there was a real issue. In the lobby you could have practice maps. Or one player maps with a 100 player server.

Generally I am using 100 player servers as lobbies.

Communication is really an issue, the text at the bottom should be bigger and more obvious. Buttons should be more obvious when clicked and since some people aren’t very good at talking, I suggest having a system like Portal does where you can signal somewhere.

100 players server? Really?

Yep, it’s actually better than it sounds. It means players won’t have too much trouble getting into the same server as their friends, because they’ll join a game before the server is full meaning new spaces open fairly quickly.

The other issue is the shutting down. It should just reset if the other player leaves.
