I am looking for a experienced Female and Male voice actor to read out given scripts. They must do expressions (which would be told on the script in square brackets) I am doing a Male Voice acting too. You must be in a silent room with no background noise and have a decent microphone.
Female
We need someone who can do a British or a American Accent. The voice we need is a Lara Croft style voice (basically that style)
Male
We need someone who has a British/American accent. They will be required to do a Jason Statham style voice (His movies should give you a good idea)
Payment
I am paying a minimum of 200 USD but if you want to stay on the team we can work out a monthly USD payment.

Do not think this is an easy 200 USD job. Please do not apply if you just have the “accent” The acting is primary in this job role. Also, I didn’t mean to restrict the genders. If you class as non-binary etc you can still apply for the role that best fits you.
I realize that this doesn’t really have anything to do with the actual post. But can anyone tell me why you would need to pay that much, just for voice acting? I can’t be sure what the magnitude of the task is, but I have a pretty good idea to base my statement on.
It’s not like you need to study for years to become a voice actor. Statistically probably 50% of us humans are biologically females, most of which can talk.
If you actually wanted to get voice actors for an off platform project, then the amount you pay isn’t actually set by you. But the voice actor you are hiring. It all depends on the quality of the voice actor. Same with real life actors/actresses who play in movies. The more popular they are, as well as how well they can act makes their time more valuable. So you would end up paying well over 200 USD for a voice actor.
Just because you don’t see something as valuable because you feel like it’s simple doesn’t mean their time isn’t as valuable.

My father was a musician who used to record his own music, and I’ve since used some of his equipment, as well as invested in my own music setup.

I think the value also depends on the Actor as well.
Think about it, I’d assume most people don’t have a professional mic to make everything sound 100% clear.
Also, you might need to consider voice edits and scratch out voice squeaks and such.

That’s like saying why are movie voice actors paid millions of pounds. They are paid a lot because these actors get into the role really well and changing personalities to fit that character which is quite hard. I think 200 USD is a reasonable payment.
Now I am also looking for a Male Voice Actor. Send me samples if possible so I can get a rough idea. I am paying 200 USD for each voice actor because the voice acting is crucial in my game. Anyways, good luck.
If you’re looking for a voice actor who has a good microphone, I wouldn’t use the devforum to find them. In the Roblox community, there are very few voice actors. I’d suggest looking at external sources like Reddit, Facebook, Websites, etc. They’re filled with voice actors. Reddit has a category for voice actors. You can also pay someone on Fiverr to do it.
I’m saying this from experience. I’ve never been able to find a voice actor. You’ll have better luck elsewhere. Usually I’m not the type of person to refer to another place, but it’s essential in this case.
How old would you need it to be? I think I’d be useful. I used to do a lot of acting and actually find myself talking with my hands when I record something. Maybe I could be an asset for your game?
