Please note the Company may not be able to employ candidates who have United States work authorization related to certain U.S. visa categories, or support future F-1 or H-1B sponsorship at this time.
Because I am not in university nor am I in school or anything, I am not eligible for a F-1 CPT or J-1 Visa, would this mean I would need to go on my own ways of obtaining a work visa via the embassy in my country? The problem is, this would mean IF I would be accepted I would need to be notified early enough that I can obtain such a visa, because there are obviously waiting times involved with the United States Embassy in my country. And It would need to be a clear confirmation of “Yes you will be a intern” otherwise the embassy would not give me a work visa if I just tell them that I “might” be able to work. When are applicants notified if they were accepted as a intern?
Are we still eligible for this position if we did not make it through the 2024 apprenticeship round? I had some technical issues with the coding challenge that time around and wasn’t able to actually complete it.
5. What are the dates of the Apprenticeship?
We have a variety of start dates to accommodate different timelines.

Can we get more details regarding dates and accommodations? As someone currently enrolled in University, I am curious about the time overlap this will have with class start and end dates.
Unfortunately, this opportunity requires the individual to be onsite at Roblox headquarters in San Mateo, CA.
All good if you haven’t created popular tools or experiences! That is not a requirement for this program - the main focus is to find individuals that have experience creating using Roblox’s technology in any capacity.
The interview process can take 4-6 weeks from assessment completion to offer notice, meaning we should have our final class hired months before the first start date of the apprenticeship. I hope this clarifies!
TLDR, yes! We have a new hiring cycle each season, and we do not take into consideration your results or interview performance for previous seasons when considering you for the 2025 opportunity. I hope this helps!
Hi there! We have 3 different start dates ranging from Mid-May to Mid June. We’ll work with you to determine the best date that works for you and your schedule.
Will there be a strong emphasis on an applicant’s understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms when considering them for employment? I researched the coding assessment and in totality, it appears to be gauging DSA knowledge almost strictly in regards to scoring.
Won’t be able to continue the assessments and move onto interviews unfortunately for personal reasons. I wish all other participants the best of luck however.
What are some important dates for this? I can’t seem to find an application deadline or when the internship will occur. Maybe I just missed it but I can’t seem to find it
I unfortunately got immediately rejected with no reasoning as to why, got it around 1 day after sending in my application. I did not even get a chance to do assessments, I just immediately got rejected after sending it without actually doing any sort of tests here.
This is perfect for me. A summer in San Mateo would be very easy for me since I have family living within 20 minutes. However, I’m still waiting to apply to either the CASE one or the normal SE internship because I am in college and waiting for my first semester to end so I have a GPA to use in my application. I think it was required in the normal SE application even though it’s not a requirement in this CASE application.
Both the CASE and SE internships piqued my interests and I am eligible for the requirements for both, so I was wondering if I should just fill out the SE application or fill out both the SE and the CASE applications?
What are you looking for in resumes and cover letters? Since I’m a Freshman in college I don’t really have any work experience in this specific field of software engineering so is it worth even putting past jobs on my documents? Would a portfolio be better to insert in its place? Also I read that you guys don’t look at referrals, but what if it’s the owner of the studio I’ve been programming for (he was a former Accelerator and goes to RDC like every year)?
There’s a lot of questions that I have that are making me hesitant to filling out an application because I don’t want to mess it up.
Others have noted that they were given the online assessment link almost immediately after sending their application. I applied a couple days ago but still waiting for the online assessment link, is this normal?
