3D Importer / Blender question/Problem


I’m hoping someone with knowledge about importing a 3D object from Blender into Studio using the 3D Importer can help. I created a tree trunk using Blender. I used PBR textures for the tree bark.

The first screen shot shows the tree I created in Blender.

The second shot shows the Shader settings in Blender.

The last shot shows how the tree show up in Studio.

The 3D Importer seemed to correctly import the PBR textures and place the entries into the appropriate entries in the SurfaceAppearance object. However, the tree trunk doesn’t have the textures applied. Do I have to texture bake the PBR textures before exporting? Is that what I’m doing wrong?

you might need to texture bake.
