i just got 3DS max 2022 and i was thinking if i should keep using blender or use 3DS max 2022 instead?

I much prefer blender, because in my opinion I do not see a massive difference in render quality/ease of use. Plus, Blender is free and open source, and if im not mistaken, 3DS max isn’t exactly cheap! Blender is a lot more popular among beginners, but if you are much more advanced and willing to push yourself and spend a bit of money, 3DS max may be better for you! Hope this helps, sailor_rohan.

This is really only because it is free, not complex. If you are more advanced, blender is definitely the way to go.
