Major credit to Zelios.
This wouldn’t be possible without him.

I’ve been wanting to code this for ages. And thanks to zelios I finally got around to it.

Not that this isn’t cool, but what’s the point of it if we need to use a third-party program? Chrome extensions are great because they’re super accessible, but if I’m going to be opening another program then I might as well just open Roblox Studio where I can test the clothes on my actual character, right?

I’ll make it a chrome extension as well. I should of added that.

If this could be transferred as a chrome extension just like Merely’s 3D catalog view, that would be the best.

I made a chrome extension that opens ROBLOX studio previewing the asset directly by one click on the site. Mainly used to preview public models quickly in 3D and have a look at their scripts and how it works. But since the method is same, I also made it work for hats, gears, shirts, pants, t-shirts, faces, heads, packages, and also user’s characters. Good to know how your character actually looks in-game.

I know about it.
It’s really cool!

Thanks
I’m trying to use WebGL3D to make it appear on site as fun project. But I’m still having problems with that

I will give you major props if you manage to do that. I’m still trying to figure out how to make a .mesh importer plugin for 3DS max.

cool, would I be able to load up clothing from templates on my computer? It could be handy for making clothes.

You do know you can use this to steal any model, right. ._.

Edit: Actually no I just quickly tested it and it doesn’t work on closed models, so good work.

Fair enough

Yup!

That’s mostly what its for, so you can see how your shirt will look like before you upload it to the site.

Awesome! I can’t wait for this.

I hope this isn’t an april fools joke.

It isn’t :).

I’m about to upload a quick alpha demo.

I’m running this on the windows phone.

Also, I need somebody to test some of this stuff out on a mac.

[center]After 4 hours.

I’ve finally changed the entire lighting.

All images now fully HD
Anti Aliasing was added:
Ambient occlusion was added:
Shirts are now grabbed directly from the site instead of going through my API.

Catalog Browsing might be added.

Before you release, get rid of that ugly background. It looks a little unprofessional. Lighting can stay, sure - but I’d much prefer to have a transparent background.

Oh, I’m just using that for testing.

It looks too depressing.
