3RD NOOB DIVISION
ROLE GUIDE
BASIC INFORMATION
The 3rd Noob Division does not rely on a rank-based system. This means troops do not get “promoted” to higher ranks. Instead, 3ND relies on a role-based system, where you pick out your desired role (Infantry, Scout, Support).
This role system is to ensure that all members of the group are participating because they want to, and not just because they want to rank up for authoritative power.
ROLE LIST
Below are the descriptions of every troop role in the 3rd Noob Division.
INFANTRY - The backbone of the division. Infantry is the most standard type of soldier, situated in the frontlines of battle.
SCOUT - The reconnaissance of the division. Scouts are to seek out enemy positions and report back to their Squad Sergeant. Other than scouting, they are almost the same as infantry.
SUPPORT - A squad’s most utilized troop. This role is especially important for covering allies and defending strategic positions. Unlike infantry, support troops should not shoot to kill, but for area denial/suppressive fire. A support troop should work closely together with infantry troops.
OFFICER ROLES
SQUAD SERGEANT - Handpicked by higher officers or the General himself. Squad Sergeants are the leaders of organized 8-10 member squads.
PLATOON COMMANDER - Handpicked by higher officers or the General himself. Platoon Commanders take responsibility of about 10-50 troops.
COLONEL - Colonels are officers who have much power, but they do not have authority over Commander+.
COMMANDER - Commanders are officers who the General trusts. They have a great sense of leadership and are beneficial to the group overall.
EXTRA NOTES ABOUT ROLES
- One role is not better than the other. Each role depends on another in order to fight effectively in combat.
- All troops must take orders from Squad Sergeant+.
