404 error while opening page

Hi,

I’m working on a restricted project where only a few select people can join (inside the edit and given premission)
Since around a week ago, players who are not part of the edit/team create session can no longer join the experience normally. This previously worked without issues.

Before:

  • External players could join normally outside of Studio/edit access.
  • A special role was given in the collaboration tab

Now:

  • Only people inside the edit/team create environment seem able to join.
  • External users are unable to access the experience anymore.
  • Multiple developers appear to be experiencing the same issue, so this may be related to a recent Roblox update or permission/access system change.

We did not intentionally change the game permissions/settings before this started happening.

Is this an intentional platform change, a bug, or related to new access/privacy updates?

It’s happening in the following place:

It’s a closed game for now with a select group of people. We give the access using the roles (not the legacy Roles).
All members without access to the edit, but the tester-role can’t see the gamepage anymore, and this wasn’t a problem a week ago.

which role previously did yall use to join in this way? play testers?

Yeah, the play testers role and the admin role.

Did you do the questionnaire for Roblox’s Maturity Check?
