A cart+obby+admin+roleplaying game: “Cart Ride and MORE!”

(Remember to interact with the teleport prompt below the spawnpoint exit sign to visit the main map.)

Please do comment if you find any glitches/bugs.
Thank you!

The only thing I liked about the game was the starterGUI at the beginning.
Other than that, the building just looked… thrown together, like it was out of place. Do you think the players will beat the obby with no checkpoints?
Game just feels like a walking simulator with restricted access to admin. Why would players play this instead of a game that gives players more powerful free admin?
I also don’t like the use of AI for the thumbnail, description and game icon.

Building: The obby is just one of the many activities players can enjoy – designed specifically for those looking for a challenging way to pass the time (hence the name “Challenging Obby”). However, the main focus is on the exploration (which ties closely to CaRM’s lore) and cart ride.

Free Admin: The admin commands are designed specifically for roleplaying purposes. Any overpowered commands would disrupt the gameplay experience.

AI: While some of the thumbnails and icon were AI-generated, the game’s description, logo – and trailer – were made entirely by us, not AI.

(Side note: CaRM was developed by a small, dedicated team without access to and experience in professional photo-editing tools.)

May I please have a screenshot?

If you’re referring to the “Gameplay Paused” message that appears when teleporting to the main map, it’s a built-in Roblox feature that helps load the map properly.
(CaRM is an open-world game.)

Ther’e not really much to screen shot becuase my fps just dropped significantly, although I didn’t get a roblox warning. I’d suggest maybe optimisign ur assets and scripts some how.

Sryy im not much help

Thanks for clarifying @Ashtagreunited.

The FPS drop is expected while the map loads; the frame rate returns to normal after a few seconds.

simply put:

  • you use AI thumbnails with game which is an immediate turnoff to most people
  • shows guide when joining but no way to find it again when clicked X
  • prompting favorite even tho i havent even tried it yet
  • you cant even use admin in a game which advertises admin;
  • using “EXIT” doesnt highlight that you’re supposed to leave as it isnt a focus
  • overall it lacks any game design principles and will 100% fail.

•AI: That is incorrect.
While there are AI thumbnails, NOT all of them are made by artificial intelligence.

(The trailer was not made by AI.)

Also,

•“…no way to find it when clicked X.”: Could you please be more specific?
If you are referring to the “Information Center” in the menu, it appears every time a player joins. The menu, however, is not intended to have its own button, as our team agreed not to add too many GUIs.

Keep in mind, the “FAQs” area at the spawnpoint is the place to learn how to play (it is optional to visit since CaRM is easy-to-learn).

•Favorite Prompt: The prompt does not intrude on players’ gaming experience. In fact, it is a button on the left side of the screen that players can choose to click.

•Admin: This is acknowledged in-game.
Devices that do not have the ability to type are limited in using admin commands.

•Exit Sign: There are many exit signs in CaRM.
If you are referring to the spawnpoint exit sign, it is absolutely a focus.

Players must interact with the teleport prompt below it to go to the main map. Which is where most of the exploration takes place – and the cart ride (both are crucial activities in CaRM).

The spawnpoint was placed away from the main map to prevent lag.

•Game Design: Game design is rarely perfect at launch – it evolves through playtesting and player feedback.

Issues are fixable and do not invalidate the core principles driving the experience. Many successful games, like Among Us or Fortnite, launched with flaws but refined their mechanics over time.

CaRM is no exception – it is a work in progress, not a final product.
