A cool sword animation!

So basically, I wanted to do some animation because animations are pretty cool in my opinion. This is my first time ever animating something I didn’t quit on.

I hope you like it!

Edit: Sorry for the bad res. I own a pretty bad computer.

Edit2: I updated the animation, lighting, and other effects! I also increased the animation time :upside_down_face: And increased the resolution
Edit3: Nevermind, resolution is worse. However, you could clearly see what I did.

Looks nice, keep it up, don’t mind me asking but, I still didn’t figure out how to animate a tool like for example a sword, could you explain?

Oh okay. To animate a tool, all you really have to do is weld the sword to a part of the r15 rig, for example the left arm, and then really once you move the left arm, the sword moves along with it. If you need any more explaining, I could tell you.

cool animation! only minor thing i would like to point out is maybe the head. looks a bit odd to me. it could be just me tho; i surely cant do better. keep it up :ok_hand:

Looks very nice! Especially it being your first one. I suggest trying to make the body parts (legs, chest, head) move with the arms. I don’t animate too much, but I think that will make it look better. I also agree with @shadow_duo324 about the head looking odd. Anyways it still really good.

Another thing I suggest is downloading a ROBLOX plugin called Moon Animator. (link:https://www.roblox.com/library/4725618216/Moon-Animator) You can go on tutorials on YouTube about how you can use it. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSbyWsnPth0 ) You can still use the animate tool still, the Moon plugin is just easier program for me.

I hope this helps!

Thanks dude! I’ll try to use moon animator as its really good! However, I still have much to learn so I’ll use roblox’s default animation editor until I learn the basics! Also, thanks for the compliments! For my first one, I didn’t realize that moving other body parts plays a huge role into making a good animation.

Thank you so much dude! Also, I’ll change that right now! Thanks for the heads up!
