It is basically useless to de-attach a tab when it acts like this. I want to minimize it, full screen it, alt-tab through it, etc… It would be a lot better if it just acts as a separate window
Clarification:
I want the de-attached script tab to be a separate window so I can alt-tab between it and the studio window. It would just make everything a lot easier and more organized and clean instead of having to fit everything in one window.
Please consider this.
The current behaviour is consistent with many applications, like Adobe creative suite, Microsoft Office, every 3D modelling software I’ve ever used, etc.
Making it full screen is achieved by double clicking on its title bar. Minimising can be achieved by closing it and reopening when you want it, or by keeping it as a tab, as each tab is effectively minimised when not in use.
The functionality is available through the methods above (except the alt-tab switching behaviour) and the current setup appears to be a near-universal standard.
yes but it being a “near-universal standard” doesn’t make it good or efficient. we should atleast get an option to toggle it.
