Hello! I have been making a lot of builds recently and wanted to share some methods I use!
Wood Panel Floor
First of all make a part. This will be your base, make it the size you want, anchor it and make it smooth plastic or neon. I am going to make mine industrial white but you can do whatever you want. When done, lock the part so it won’t disturb you.
Then, make another part. It needs to be anchored, flat and on top of the base.
I am going to make it Rust (143, 76, 42) but the color is up to you. Make the material wood, or add a texture you have made.
Now, it should look something like this:
Now, duplicate the wood panel along the base.
As you can see here, there is a panel that is to long. Just cut it down to size.
Now, select all the wooden panels, and duplicate them then, move them up a bit.
Here it looks a bit dull, so just move it over a bit.
Now, it will look something like this:
Duplicate it as many times as you need, and then you are done!
This is not required, but union the wooden panels, and then group the panel with the base!
Reflectve Tiled Floors
First of all make a part. This will be your base, make it the size you want, anchor it and make it smooth plastic or neon. I am going to make mine industrial white but you can do whatever you want. When done, lock the part so it won’t disturb you.
Then, make another part. It needs to be anchored, flat, on top of the base, and square.
I am going to make it Cyan (4, 175, 236) but the color is up to you. Make the material smooth plastic, or add a texture you have made. Make the reflectance 0.3.
Now, it should look something like this:
Now duplicate them to make a row.
As you can see here, there is a tile that is too long:
Just cut it to size, then you can duplicate the rows to make a complete floor.
The end product should look something like this:
