I always look at servers to find out if there are some of my friends playing in multiple servers, but i was wondering. Why aren’t there “Friends playing in universe” servers?
This would allow me to join my friends which are playing inside of a different place than the lobby very easily.
If you have a lobby, then you cant see the servers from the other places inside of the universe, so you dont know which place your friend is in, which makes joining him even more difficult. You’d have to contact him and ask him where he is inside of the universe.
If we had these universe servers popup at the lobby, we could easily join our friend in the gamemode he’s playing, without needing to ask him.
I agree. However, this feature could get abused in battle royale games, story games and on games like Eviction Notice and Survivor. The developers should be able to disable this option to prevent abuse. For example, someone in a story game could join a few moments before the round ends just to get the badge.
It could probably work via the current follow friend system.
It would grab the servers your friends are playing in and once you try to join the server, it tries to follow your friend instead, just like clicking the joingame button on their profile.
It looks like you didn’t really understand. I said that this feature could get abused in story games, in battle royale games, etc. I agree with this feature but I think that the developers should be able to disable this in order to prevent abuse. For example, in a battle royale game, someone joins when 2 users are still alive.
