I’m aware roblox is currently owning the Guilded platform so i wanted to check it back 3 month later to find the following issue.
This also happen with Guilded announcement on roblox microsoft store app
Expected behavior
The request url should be changed or guilded should be inspected using a device with Malwarebytes
this is a false positive in malwarebytes, not a bug in guilded. the cdn.gldcdn.com domain is the correct url for guilded assets.
as for why: i’m assuming the guilded CDN has been used at some point as either a malware download link or a c2 server for a stealer. discord had the same issue with their cdn.discordapp.com links being misused until they disabled hotlinking
Well if the same thing would happen on discord i would it would also trigger malwarebytes which doesnt. So i consider there something they can try to do to fix the following.
