I would change the following:
Not have a brick roof. I would do concrete or like wood not sure but brick looks a bit strange.
I would do a frame around the windows.
I would add some bushes, doorknobs, path in front of door.
I would do two individual windows instead of 1 super large window.
Make the smoke from chimney a little less steady.

That isn’t bad for a first house. So, good job!
I’d say the particle emitter is fine, but it doesn’t need to go up so high. To fix this just play around with the Lifetime of the Particle Emitter in properties using this: 
You could also add some vegetation around the house such as hedges, trees, plants.
I’d also change the material of the roof to something else like Wood. Another thing you could change might be the windows, instead of the one long window on the side maybe have one or two different windows.
I’m not sure how the interior looks yet, so I can’t give much feedback on that aspect of the house. The exterior design isn’t terrible, but it could use some remodeling. I think by adding another room to one side of the house might help it, just so it doesn’t look like a big square.
Overall though, not bad. A lot better than the first house I ever built.

Currently, the interior is just one big empty room.
I changed the material to WoodPlanks and changed the particle emitter’s Lifetime. Looks like this now:
I also will seperate the Windows and add another room. 
Your “Small House” looks very amazing, i like everything you added to the house. It well look more better if you added, the details. And implemented them to your house However there is a couple of things! I’ll add to your small house, so it could look. More decent and improved, as well i’ll add the details that’s suppose to be! Around the house so it could be improved a lot more overall. You have done a decent job on your first ever build!
Small House
Your first ever house looks very good, i like the chimney you implement to your house. However there is a couple of things i’ll add such as! Material for those kind. Of houses they all have wood, brick, stone, stucco, ect. Try implementing some of those materials. to your house as it seems you have wood which is really good! As that is what houses need you could, also add some (Plastic Wall Panel) onto your house to look more better but if you. Plan not to you could always add those kind of materials on your next house! And the chimney i would change the color to a tudor brown, charcoal, yellow, stock, grey, deep red, ect. Instead of having it a yellow kind of. Color you could try adding one of those kind, of colors to the chimney so it won’t be the, same color as the house overall i see you added! The brick material i would suggest you add, another color to it as the ones i listed above try. Adding all different kind colors only if it matches. The house and style your going for i think it, would look more better if you added some! color to it overall great job on your small house.
Texture/Material
So your house needs some different kind of material. I see you already added the wood material however you could add, these kind of materials to your! House such as stucco, concrete, stone, brick, marble, granite, ect. Those are all other materials that’s implemented. To other houses try adding some other materials to, your houses if you plan on doing that, and you could also add some texture! To the roof part i would recommend you add, some shingle, seamless, slate, tiles, ect. These are the kind of textures you could. Try adding to your (Small House) just to improve it some more i’ll suggest, you add some decorations to your house, so it could look more decent as you can see below what small houses have!!

Overall, i really like your first ever house. And i think it looks really good, as i said above try adding some shingle, tiles, seamless, slate, ect. So it could look more detailed, If you plan on adding details those are! Some i would recommend you add. Here is a couple, of things i’ll add so your “Small House” so it could! Look more better and improved a lot more. Overall it looks very impressive.

Overall, you have done amazing job on your small house these. Are just some details your house needs. On the exterior area and the house itself. However you don’t have to add all the, details i listed above! You could just add some, can’t wait to see more of. Your work very soon and the different, details you add to your build, anyways great job on your “First Ever House”. Hope to see the improvements of it very soon it keep it up!

I really like it, A good tip would be always use a real house or an image off of google as a template when you are making a house, thats because its like an approximate sketch of what you want to be building, I always make detailed drawings of what i want to do before i start and get input as I develop through the build, now regarding this build it could use more height on the walls and the windows can be split into different groups you can also add designs on windows such as the metal parts used to open and close windows.

Hm maybe add more to the roof, like a solar panel? Or maybe add some tiny details like a crack, or a few bricks popping out to make it look a bit more detailed.

Good for a starter! The only problem i see with it is how blocky it is. You should change your setting to something like this: Rotate: 2; Increment: 0.1as it allows you to do more detail, don’t be scared to go outside of the wall with the roof, and try working with reference.

I really like that you have attempt of making a house to your fullest ability and I really like that you have added smoke coming out of the chimney. I really like it!
I would suggest the following to upgrade your house:
Sugesstions
- You could possible fix the door.
- Detail the chimney.
- You could change the transparency of the door window if I’m not mistaken.
- If you desire to change the color and material of the roof.
- You could add a door knob for extra details.
I would say that is the suggestions from my part of the view of the house to improve on but overall well done!

The smoke is going to high, you can stop this though by changing the range or something.

In my opinion, your windows should be changed to 248, 248, 248 (color), 0.6 Transparency, and 2 reflection.

Houses in real life usually do not have a brick roof, so I suggest to change it. My opinion though.

On the corners of the house, I suggest putting a bigger block like this.
