A tunnel I created, feedback is welcome

Hi, I created a tunnel. I want to point out that this is my first build so It isn’t perfect. Anyways, this build took me an hour to complete.

If you want see it properly instead of just seeing the image then here is the link:

If I were to give myself a rating for this build, I’d give it a 5.5/10. The reason behind it is because I know I can improve on this build a lot. I’m not at the pro builder level yet, however with time I’ll get there eventually. Honestly, I am proud that my build turned out to be alright because I am a complete beginner

Lastly, I made a goal for myself. In 6-7 months from now, I’m going to re-attempt to make this build. The difference will be that I’ll be much more experienced. Let’s master Roblox studio, then blender.

Remember I seriously want feedback; it can be as harsh as you want. I am perfectly okay with it because this is what will make a better developer, which is what I want

The thing about Building is that it is easy to get into but hard to master!
Its good to practice for mastering your skills, so here’s my feedback:

  • In a general view, the future lighting definitely gave its effect by making the simplest thing very realistic, the tunnel structure seems to be done properly.
  • What I would say though, is that the lighting is too intense, and the vents (i think …) looks off, and the light parts are too thick.

I think it’s a pretty good start, something that I will advise you is to experiment more with Roblox studio and discovering some of its features (eg. Unions, learning some shortcuts…), I would also recommend you to use Plugins, they are very useful tools to make building easier.

Last, something that motivated me for building and wanting to learn more is to watch some Roblox building time-lapses, not only you can learn a few tricks but also inspire you to build :slightly_smiling_face:

Anyway, I kinda like your build and I wish you the best in mastering your skills!

So true! It seems easy but once you get into you begin to understand how wrong you were lol.

Completely agree with that tbh. I was kinda messing around with the lighting because I wanted to see how it looked.

Ye I need to start doing that; thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the feedback; it will seriously help me improve. Thanks again!

Thank you for the kind words. It looks good but I know I still have more practising to do.

It’s all good! Thank you for pushing ROBLOX to its limits! And I can’t wait to see what you can make with more practice.

Stay safe!
