Ability for international developers to devex to a US bank to save on exchange rates

Hi there, currently international developers have no ability to devex to a US bank that we set up.

At the Tipalti supplier portal, as soon as we set our location to our respective countries (Australia in my case), we no longer get the option to transfer funds using ACH to a local US bank. This means that we are at the mercy of hefty local bank exchange rates.

Many payment providers such as xe/wise/ebury provide a service for international developers to have a US bank account. If we are able to devex to that US bank account as an intermediary before transfering to our local bank, in my case I can save up to a thousand dollars a year in exchange rates, as those services offer a much more competitive exchange rate compared to my local banks.

I contacted Tipalti about this issue, and their response was:

Could you please reach out to the Roblox team to enable the option “Allow any payment country” in your account and for further assistance.

Roblox, please help us international developers to save a huge chunk in currency exchange rates!

I found out that you can manually email roblox support and ask for this to be enabled for your account, so no new feature required then. Would be nice to have this in the devex faq though.
