Well, I remember that it previously said “Account Deleted” until account deactivation became a thing. Since then, when you deactivate your account or it gets terminated it appears “Inactive”.
Okay? Inactive literally only means that the account is deleted, so what’s the difference? Same with accounts redirecting to the 404 page. It only means one thing. If Roblox meant for it to be private, then they would let you view terminated user profiles. And they would make no distinction between them in friends list. And they would remove the isBanned
field from the data returned by a request to https://users.roblox.com/v1/users/1
I’ve been in many roblox group fields that inevitably get plagued with account hacks and false terminations. I’ve seen many major groups fall out of relevancy, investors lose money, and developers lose their job solely because a holder account got terminated, resulting in the entire group running to a halt.
A big issue we’ve faced is walking on eggshells with the content we produce. In order to not break rules, when an an accident might result in the group owner being terminated over content the owner did not directly produce?
Why is there no way to resolve this problem? If an account is permanently terminated, the group should be able to be requested, similarly to how other platforms handle username or forum ownership requests.
