Ability to search for multiple phrases at the same time

Sometimes, games use abbreviations and/or multiple names. Some (probably horrendous) examples are Grsnd Piece Online (GPO), Jujutsu Shenanigans (JJS), and A One Piece Game (AOPG).

Searching for multiple terms using quotations will only include results with both of them. So there is no way to quotation search (for lack of better wording) both either.

This type of naming makes it so we have to search multiple times if we want all content related to a subject, or even different subjects. There should be some way to search multiple subjects at the same time, I checked around and asked a few people and found no way to do this.

This can probably be implemented using commas (,) when searching a term.

If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience using the forum because I would be able to get every topic related to a subject without searching multiple times. I would also be able to search for multiple different subjects at the same time, which is useful.

I meant this for the developer forum, there is probably no reason you’d ever need to search for two games at the same time on the same account. I also do not have access to feature requests.

Thanks for the post. Unfortunately OR-based search is not supported by the default Discourse search. We’d have to move to a custom search solution rather than using Discourse’s. I wouldn’t bank on our team having bandwidth to do that any time soon since this doesn’t seem highly impactful at the moment.
