This and having control over who can see that you are currently in-game, online are 2 different things. Currently you can only turn off following to the same experience but anyone can still see what you are doing on the platform. This is a pretty simple feature and almost every other major site i can think of has this. No idea why this is not a thing yet.
Can we please get this in 2024???
yeah lets bump please. There are lots of time where i would want to appear offline to get some “heads down” time in instead of responding to messages
Bumping this, it’s a required feature really like developing a private game or playing something you don’t want your friends to see, this might make a good way to relieve bullying and make a better privacy experience for everyone.
I found that you can sort of create an invisible mode so it shows you on the website even if your playing a game. I have no clue how long this lasts however because it happens when you use the same account twice and close the Roblox app which says “same account launched”
I second this. There should also be an option to hide when you are in Studio, so people can see your online but can’t know that you are editing a game in Studio. Please it’s 2024 why is that not a privacy setting already? @Roblox
I’m not sure but this has been there for a long time, you can’t use it though it’s hidden

Bumping as I’d like to see this officially added to the Roblox platform. Used to be able to do this with the Roseal extension but due to a Roblox update It was removed. Also I remember Roblox working on this exact feature but ended up scraping it for whatever reason. Puzzles me.
Well idk why they scrapped it because anyone can see if you’re online, playing or editing in Studio even if they don’t have you added. They should’ve added an option to hide all since long ago… Such a privacy issue @Roblox
Bumping this. It seems like every other platform has the ability to set your account as invisible. If I’m working on an experience people can easily see the name of it even if they’re not my friends. All in all, it makes Roblox feel safer knowing people can’t see if I’m online or developing an experience.

We need this. Theres a friend developer wanting me so badly to work in his game when I don’t want, that he even started stalking my roblox profile to see when I’m online or playing so he begin to start spamming my discord and whatsapp dms. Even if he can’t join cuz of my privacy settings, he can still see some icon if I’m playing, in studio or simply online. I shuoldn’t be in need of blocking him if roblox added this so required feature.
I agree. I had multiple occasions where I had to remove friends from my friend list so I could play without being followed and spammed.
this happens to me a lot too unfortunately. I cant even play roblox so I have to play steam games because they provide the option
