DISCLAIMER: I know that setting your country on Roblox is pointless. It serves no purpose and probably never will. I’m making this for the people that don’t trust Roblox as much as others.
When you sign up for Roblox, the system automatically sets your country to wherever your IP address is located at least i think that’s the process
Making an option to set up your country when you sign up for Roblox would fix the problem of parents worrying about their child’s secret information I know there’s parents out there that do this
Also, an option to not set a location would be epic
obviously this has nothing to do with development, and it won’t help me in anyway, but i thought why not?

This statement guarantees that this request will not be fulfilled.
But they will always have the same factors that they are presently using to determine your country anyway, and it isn’t publicly presented anywhere. Roblox isn’t going to allow people to input false data and mislead themselves. Ever. That makes no sense.

False. Setting your country changes not only the front page (try setting your country to Bouvet Island)
Roblox is following this one thing that is called COPPA (Child Online Presence Protection Act) where Roblox is not allowed to collect children’s data AS LONG as the child is under 13 and gives out their real birth date. If the parents give a different age when setting up the child’s account, it’s the parents’ fault.
In general - Roblox will know your location regardless cus your ISP is connecting to their servers and the ISP is downloading data from their site to you. If you want to hide your location - use a VPN.
