If Roblox is able to address your issue, how would it improve your game and/or your development experience? Please be as specific as possible.
If I knew what the content was, I’d be able to better address an appeal (or decide not to if I agreed with the punishment)
It’d be preferable if we had the option to display hidden content on our account if our account age is over 18 (possibly also making the content invisible until you check a box or press a button confirming you wish to see the content). Alternatively, it would be nice if there was some automatic system (i.e. send an email verifying you’re over 18 and you want to see the content) to allow us to see what the reason is.
In this case, I’m suspecting it’s something I’ve done years ago (as I recently received a warning for several forum posts a long time ago). So it might also be nice to know when exactly the offensive item occurred as well. Not just to make sure it’s still relevant, but also to refresh your memory when it happened.
This should absolutely be the norm. What’s the reason behind blocking it? Is the point to keep someone from being scarred by an image that they’ve already seen, because they uploaded it in the first place?
The concern is that the owner of a formerly compromised account may see inappropriate content that the account thief uploaded while they had control of the account.
Okay, that’s understandable. But there should still be a way to view the content. Maybe a button to show the hidden content, much how the spoilers system works?
So it turns out it was because of adult talk on Roblox forums. Not just have I not used the forums for quite some time, but it’s just words. This isn’t pornography or anything like that. Why am I unable to see this?
Couldn’t agree more. How will anyone be able to appeal if they don’t know the exact reason of their ban? This also affects many developers who often lose their eligibility for DevEx after such unexplained bans, and don’t have any evidence to prove their innocence.
I feel like if you can’t see the content you got banned for, it’s kind of unhelpful for things like appeals. We could just set it similar to the Blur system, as @ChipioIndustries pointed out, as possibly maybe add some sort of warning next to it? It’s better to know and see the offending item rather then to have no idea what you got banned for.
