Able to Create UGCs In Groups as a Non-UGC Creator

In groups you own, you can see a UI in creations called “Accessories”. However, this is just the UI, and clicking “Create 3D Clothing” launches Roblox Studio.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Go to the Creator Page
  2. Go to the drop-down menu and select your group
  3. Click on Avatar Items then Accessories


Expected Behavior:
I expect to not see the “Accessories” and “Clothing” tabs and instead just see “Classics” as I am not in the UGC program.

Actual Behavior:
I see the “Accessories” and “Clothing” tabs.

Workarounds:
N/A

I have been experiencing the same thing and it still shows in groups that I own/have permission to create assets…

One thing I would like to point out (for those that are reading) is that if you try to create anything as a test on Roblox Studio and save it to Roblox, it won’t publish as an Accessory nor as Layered Clothing rather than a Model.

Thanks for the report! This was confusing behavior, so the “create 3D clothing” button has been removed from the groups page for now. Let us know if you see any other issues
