can replicate this but why not switch to dark mode?

Because I use light mode on every platform I go on.
I can’t seem to replicate this. Your ipad OS version may be too old and cause this bug.

My IPad’s current OS is 16.2, is that too old?

I mean, iPad OS 16.6 is out and you can update to it. But I don’t think this will solve it.

It seemed like this bug had mysteriously fixed itself - no updates to my OS whatsoever.
