So I got this message that the UK will get sharper gambling regulations and you have to adapt your game blablabla.
None of my games includes random items but I guess I have clicked that in the questionnaire once. Do I have to fill out my questionnaire again to remove that? Or can I just keep it in? Because there is nothing like that in my game. The only reason why I wouldn’t want to redo the questionnaire if I don’t have to is, because I feel like it could harm the game in the algorithm…Maybe it takes a few days to review it or something. is there anyone who knows more about this?
I have the same issue none of my public games (maybe my private games have one idk I have so many). So I was wondering if I would still be moderated
Just redo the form - make it accurate to your game. It’ll mean that users in the UK can play if there’s nothing else in your game restricting it.
Well but wouldn’t that hurt the algorithm? I kinda feel like Roblox wouldn’t show my game to anyone for a few days because it’s in some automatic review state or whatever.
Well it only gets like 20 plays a day anyways so I guess that doesn’t really matter.
Oh well I just checked my game and it says that it’s suitable for all ages, there are no special factors and there are no non compliant regions. So I guess I just got the message because I didn’t fill out the questionnaire for some other private games.
Well then I guess you won’t be affected. It’s the game itself that would cause issues. You can check your game’s age rating and if there are any non compliant regions in the questionnaire section
The only game I am thinking of why I got this message is because I’m making a simulator more about that below.
I should be okay as the only game where I have buyable items (not including tools and stuff) is my simulator game. But every buyable thing has a 100% chance example you can buy a giraffe for 99 robux. I think my game will be safe as I don’t have any paid random items.
I think that paid random items only refer to …gambling (loot boxes, etc.)
Yeah I’m pretty sure that’s the case. As a few countries are talking about that currently
