How heavily do you disadvantage yourself by not adding micro transactions to your game? AKA solely relying on people playing it? I imagine it may wildly differ depending on the game and how you implement your micro transactions, BUT what I’m wanting to know if you have 2 games with 1 million views each, but one of them is full of micro transactions how much more money would it make? Now what about instead of full of micro transactions it just had a tip jar option?
Now I personally love games that have only a tip jar sort of thing because it just makes me feel as though the game is coming more from the heart. Those games also tend to have more originality in them. However, this does not mean that it would be more profitable. The average Roblox player will not care enough about the developer to consider helping them out and they would rather spend money on something that helps them, not the dev. Because of this, if you need to make a stable amount of money from your game micro transactions are the way to go.
if you are going for micro transactions, go for small amount. people will more likely to buy a lot of small amount then a big amount. I would suggest you keep it small until you have an active playerbase.
