Well, I think I’ve worked on it enough to ask for feedback on this project. For the past month or two, I’ve been working on an AC-130 gunship on Roblox, featuring the well-known 25mm, 40mm and 105mm cannons.
Controls:
LMB to shoot the selected cannon.
Q to cycle between cannons.
F to switch optics (OPT and FLIR).
H to switch heat type (white hot and black hot).
Some notes:
- UI to enter the AC-130 is only temporary.
- AC-130 model is not mine but I do plan to create my own some time in the future before releasing a somewhat ambitious game I have in mind.
- Propellers don’t move yet since I’m both lazy and it probably helps with some performance.
- If you want to have another run with the dummies, you’ll need to rejoin.
- Edit: You can pan the camera 360 degrees in any direction since I’m still working on clamping the angle.
- Edit 2:
There’s still an issue (that I haven’t been able to resolve as of yet) that will spam whatever cannon you’ve fired if there’s two people using the AC-130.fixed the issue! I accidentally left a loop that leaves every client who receives the information to render the projectile to fire the same remote and creates a recursive effect for other clients, which will also fire the same and so on
