Yeah it kind of is an issue because they aren’t providing what was purchased.

I’d love for this to get fixed, but don’t get your hopes up. Roblox has publically stated they won’t be making changes to R6. This issue is caused by SpecialMeshes being used for R6 accessories rather than MeshParts, which notably don’t have this issue. You can fix this in your own games by converting R6 accessories to MeshParts and that should fix any visual discrepancies this causes.

Yes I understand that, It’s what I’m referring to. I’m not UNDERSTANDING why the texture cannot be scaled up to the proper size.
I’m not an expert on UV mapping and whatnot but I’m gonna go out on a LIMB here and guess that it would not be excessively difficult to upscale the texture so that people actually receive what they pay for.
Any argument about “Optimization” is complete malarkey, I mean that with 100%. If Roblox cared about optimization they would not allow people to wear NINE UGC HATS AT A TIME that all contain thousands and thousands of polygons, along with more UGC in the form of the packages people can now upload (only god knows how much of a disaster that is when there’s nearly 50 people all dressed like that in your game).
This is embarrassing. YOU should feel embarrassed for having to deal with something so trivial and outright unbelievable. Please riddle me what the POINT of crafting an experience for months, some people even YEARS just for Roblox to turn their back to easily solvable problems that affect the whole site? This type of negligence and downright malice towards people who don’t want to make a metaverse-friendly game that looks like a facebook keynote from 2019 is EXACTLY what makes developers leave in search of engines that actually, WORK and are transparent.
This isn’t even about the issue. It’s about the fact that it’s such a GLARING and easily solvable one that they just will NOT fix despite being made aware of it multiple times. Like I said, Embarrassing.
Keep pushing more devs out of the platform to go make games that would be WILDLY successful on Roblox like garten of banban and WHATEVER appeals to young children to chase some metaverse investor embezzlement scheme because that will surely help the company in the long run.
