Accessory with multiple attachments... does this work?

I’m working on a test with a custom mesh… there’s a part that goes over the head, and two handles…

Is it possible to make this work with multiple attachments? Or will I need to find another way to get the hands to reach up to grab the handles?

Couldn’t you do an animation for holding it, or is it not like that?

No, not like that… this will eventually be cloned onto the character via tool script…

Then I don’t know how you would do that, but best of luck trying to find how to!

Moving this to Art Design Support as it has to do with rigging. Please do not ask for development help in Cool Creations, that’s not what the category is for.

In terms of the question: yes it will work, but the accessory will only attach by the first attachment it finds. In this case it seems it recognises HatAttachment as the weld point.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to do, but arms do not automatically move to meet the attachments. You will need to put that work in manually either with an animation or by modifying the motors for the arms.

Thanks for moving it :grimacing:

Doing a deep dive on animations now… looks pretty simple thus far!

Took a different approach to the tool I was attempting to build, with no handles and a single attachment…
