Accidentally overwrote my animation. Can I get the old one back?

Hi!

I was getting ready to start working on some animations, and while looking up some music to listen to while animating, I wanted to import a base animation to work off of. Until I saw this…

I honestly panicked when I saw that screen. I accidentally hit “Export” instead of “Import”.
My old animation is now gone and replaced with an entirely empty, default animation.
Words cannot describe how awful I’m feeling now that my old animation, which I spent lots of time on polishing, is seemingly erased now.

Is there anything I could possibly do to retrieve it?
Thanks in advance.

I found a very old version of the animation I saved in the rig itself.
However, I still made A LOT of changes in the final animation compared to this save.
This means I’ll have to re-do a lot of things.

My original question still remains.

You can download various version of the asset using the following link:

https://assetgame.roblox.com/Asset/?id=[ASSET-ID]&version=[Version-Number]

You can change this file to an rbxm file and then insert it into the AnimSaves folder of your dummy.

How do I find out what version was the latest before overwriting my animation?
I published my animation several times in order to apply changes and test them in-game.

Unfortunately I don’t know any API to get a list of asset versions by time updated or similar, you are probably going to have to manually binary search for the right version.
