I received a “Cheat and Exploits” ban with a note about a “modified client,” but I only used the official Roblox client (not the latest version, but the previous one).
I used it because the latest version of ROBLOX had memory leaks, which made it almost impossible and incredibly painful to play after about 5-10 minutes.
I used this website rdd.weao for previous version.
I am 100% sure that I did not use any exploits in the game for which the ROBLOX system banned me. I only test in my own games, and ROBLOX has never banned me for this because it is allowed in my games.
When I contacted ROBLOX Support, I immediately received an automated response:
What should I do about this? Just wait? I would just like to prove that I did not do anything like that and that the check is probably wrong, but this situation is just very upsetting for me personally.
I would appreciate receiving the most accurate answer to understand the whole issue. Thank to everyone who responds.
I understand your situation and that outcome is not deserved in the least, however if you suspect there to have been an issue with memory leaks, reporting the issues would have been safer, additionally making sure to not use the Roblox application until those issues are confirmed to have been fixed.
Yes, you’re probably right. But the problem with memory leaks has been raised several times on devforum, this problem still haunts me, and it’s very sad. Logically speaking, I had no other options but this one.
In any case, https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/24275616578708-Anti-cheat-Messages
does not indicate that previous versions are prohibited. But this will probably cause conflicts, since the old version still has bugs, and the new one has certain changes.
Yes, my photo on this post is their automatic response to my Support Team.
Apparently, all reports identified by the anti-exploit system are those for which no support request can be submitted.
