Hello, I am a one of the lead developer for the group ANTAGONIST (ID: 32761717) we’ve worked on games such as “a wavy trip” and “Magnet Mates” with about 20M visits combined aside from that the group and his account were banned for “Selling and Buying Robux off the platform”.
My manager was terminated so he is unable to post here so I am posting for him. He only used payouts to pay other developers or people paid for commissions or for sponsoring our games with ad credits. He reached out to Roblox support only for them to give little to no information on the ban. These are the screen shots of all the replies Roblox Support has given him via email. After a look at other forum posts it appears others have been banned for the same reason and given the same response with little to no information from Lydia, almost as if the responses are automated or there isn’t really any other response that can be given.
Does anyone here know how he is able to get Roblox support to reverse the termination or escalate this post so a different roblox employee is able to check our problem? The group had over 2,000,000 Robux in it at the time it was locked and that robux was payment for developers for a big project we were working on.
Sorry to hear what happened to your account and group. I might be able to assist you in getting both unbanned, though I won’t make any guarantees whatsoever. At the very least, I can get you to have an actual dialogue with Roblox via the Legal team and or Disputes team.
This is what you want to do because I can tell you the problem you’ve described is much too complicated to be solved by an agent of Roblox Support. If you or anyone here wants to find out more about how to do this, please join my server so we can have a chat.
I can confirm this. Roblox is very unresponsive and the moderation is the worst. Locking a group over the reason of “Selling Robux” shouldn’t even exist. There is simply no way to know whether a group has been involved in such activity or not.
A lawsuit could and should be filed over this, it is NOT the group owner’s problem if the Roblox moderation is trashy and locks a group without any concrete evidence, randomly accusing “selling robux”, and taking over their money which in this case was over 5k usd and the group was making over a 100 usd daily.
To put it in short: There is simply no way Roblox moderators would be able to know if someone had been selling robux unless the “seller” has been talking about it to others, and selling to others inside of the Roblox platform. Roblox moderators should have no right over banning users for selling robux.
This group was never even in involved in any kind of such activity.
