I’d rather pay 30 robux for every voiceline in my game if there was going to be any than wait another month to upload another bunch of voicelines if I had already been past the audio upload limit, which is 10. [not counting the 100 or 2000 audio limit that is given with no information, and no I’m not going to give roblox my ID]

Very true, However, Roblox has said that you may see changes to your limit (Probably depending on your account age, and some other factors that may determine the legitimacy of your account and intentions.)
Edit: I totally agree with you by not giving roblox your ID and LITERAL FACE. I understand this issue, and it is an issue i have myself too. I don’t trust roblox with my ID and a selfie of myself. They may say they delete it, but do they really? Its a big privacy risk. I wish there was another way to verify your age. Maybe by giving your name and city, so that they could check with your town’s administration. I don’t think roblox will be doing this, because companies are so obsessed with information.
I’ve been on the platform for almost five years, I have a clean moderation history (nothing more than a few warnings), I have 100+ total place visits, yet, I am limited to 10 uploads.
No way am I sending Roblox a picture of my license.

@tnavarts Are we supposed to DevEx at least once in order to receive the 2000 audio limit or is the limit only given to certain developers?

same here, still limited to the 10 audio limit.
Almost any actual game uses way more than 10 audios, so replacing them all would take months.

For those complaining about limits then it can be circumvented using alternate accounts and a group game. Becuase the group games can use any audio that is uploaded under the groups name. And the group owner can assign ranks with permissions to upload audios.
And theyve only given us 2 weeks. Good job roblox, once again, failed successfully.

This scares the crap out of me, like if meshes are next, my group game would be trashed (I’m the leader of said game), because most of my meshes are uploaded from my old computer (like all my audio) and I cant reupload them to my group, and I don’t know how to even make more complicated meshes, so everything from tree’s, some benches, rocks, and many other things including simple shapes will be gone, I’m just a builder, not a 3D modeler, I rely on this stuff, also all models that has meshes in it that I shared with my friends will be destroyed, its bad enough that they wont have any sounds in them now… If I want to share things that I made with my friends, I should be able to do so, its what half of what roblox is based of for god sakes.

The least you could do is improve your search algorithm since you’re making us find new “Official” sounds. Searching for sounds is a frustratingly annoying process that involves searching through sometimes hundreds of sound assets all with the same name that most of the time hardly resemble what you searched for. That combined with the 2 week preparation, this is a bad change.

What about the 13+ users who DONT HAVE AN ID YET? I don’t think you can drive in the U.S when you are 13. And not to mention the “Verification” process they do. Who knows how companies store this information! They claim “It’s deleted” so I honestly don’t know. Roblox even got sued for using their verification method!
