Why make old audioâs private? instead of just make them from now on a ability to make them not private, like a switch.

This update is a disaster for many games, developers and players. Then it may be that roblox is not the choice (it will be good if he gives more details on this subject because for the moment we donât know much)
For me it must first do some things before doing this update:
1 Refund ALL music gamepass! We paid for a feature (which will be removed) so Roblox must reimburse the people who bought the music pass (in Robux of course).We paid, itâs normal to be reimbursed!!!
2 Improve the audio moderation system! If an audio does not pass moderation, do not ban anyone who tries to upload the audio because we all make mistakes. Also it is useless to create a useless asset that will be named âRemoved for copyrightâ or â[Content Deletedâ], just put a message that says that the audio cannot be imported.
3 Improve audio library interface (Well mainly for Roblox audios). It would be time to have filters like, the duration of the audio, the type of audio (Music, SFXâŚ), from whom the audio comes (By APM or other?), the type of music ( Rock, Pop ElectroâŚ) and others if possible. You tell the developer to use your music so update the audio library so we can better find the audio weâre looking for (I think roblox audio isnât 100% bad⌠Finally, I hopeâŚ).

Seriously Roblox⌠as much as I understand how terrible it is to loose money you need to hear feedback from your playerbase rather than care about money. I mean do you NOT see the 4335 hate comments? I can totally understand why you want to release this update, but I think you should be concerned about the people Who make you money in the first place and that is your developers & players. Did you ever think about that? (B.T.W I cancelled my Roblox premium membership and made all assets that I ever created offsale just to prove a point 
)

Not to mention people ( LIKE ME ) who paid for it in multiple games! I just so happened to pay for it in âWelcome to Bloxburgâ (Gamepass is now offsale) and âBrookhaven RPâ ( They still have theirs on sale for some reason?) I would like the 350 robux I wasted IN TOTAL refunded for something that doesnât work.

I too have paid for music pass (Meepcity, Themepark tycoon, Fnaf RP and many other games) And I completely agree with you. Roblox MUST refund music pass

So Iâm reuploading a siren noise for my group games. And it got rejected along with a 1 day ban.
The audio I tried to upload was a short loop of an air raid siren at a low pitch. Yet they accepted another version that was THE SAME SOUND except slightly higher pitched. This is the exact reason I do my uploading on alts.

Also BOTH these audios had previously been uploaded with no issues. I was just reuploading them for use in my other games.
TLDR: Roblox moderation is sometimes so broken. Group games are cool because multiple users in the group can all upload audio onto the group for use in group games.

Alright so for the past few days, Iâve been stopping to a halt on all my projects, due to this useless update. Iâm telling you this update is a disaster and something that shouldnât happen. When this update launches, millions of audios from games will be silent and the games will end up broken. Donât worry though, your games will work perfectly, but you wonât have sound effects or background music. Just yesterday I tried to upload background music for my game, and they censored it right away after uploading. I even checked to make sure if thereâs any copyright, there ainât none, so i quit that too. the only thing works is uploading sound effects which angers me. Anyways, with that said, tons of games on Roblox will become a boring experience for many, some may leave, some may stay, some may stay or just donât care. It kind of obvious Roblox is turning into something they arenât. Uploading music is a confusing thing at the moment, because of how flawed and unthoughtful this update really is. Want to know why? Well let me tell you. Right after this update, many Developers will start reuploading their audios, (I donât know where they would get the time to do that, but thatâs just beyond me) and once they do their anxiety or stress will go away, but thereâs a twist here, people wonât be able to hear your audio and you wouldnât able to either. The hype that we got with free audio was served as a distraction so we wouldnât panic about the update. It did work for an hour. Why hide something if you know everybody is going to find out any way? Does that make any sense to anybody? No right? I agree. Anyways, Iâve done my research, talked to a few people on here about this topic and most of the people Iâve met hate this update, I donât see anything positive in this. All I see is potential failure in the update, and its sad how some believe that this update is good and they will still be able to hear the audio. You canât convince everybody, just let them figure it out on their own and let them find out if the audio still works for them or not. Were living in sad times in real life and online.

Yep! Me too! Iâm basically going on strike. Iâve just stopped development and merch design and users no longer have the option to buy my shirts

You didnât pay for the right to play copyrighted songs. Type in your favorite Roblox procured song codes and enjoy.
Rq though, I havenât seen ANYONE on the Roblox platform go âWOW! OMG THIS IS THE BEST MUSIC EVER!â to a monstercat song.

Well that is part of the reason we are in this situation weâre in now with law suits and new audio rules and limitations.
Maybe the new privacy controls will allow Roblox to make deals with major labels to have songs on the platform. Maybe youâll be able to buy your favorite song like you buy a hat or shirt and then be able to play it in your boombox.
