Hey, the other day I accepted a commission and made one of those “Before → After” ads for a group named Wellz, I would like feedback on the ad. Sorry if it looks incomplete, I was left unpaid so I didn’t feel like perfecting it.
Please leave your thoughts and criticism below, it’d be greatly appreciated!
I am not a fan of these ads. The art is 10/10 don’t get me wrong but, these ads tend to trick you into staying in the group. I have went through there communications to ask where is reward but your just left in the dust. Rarely will you see groups really do what they say in their ad.
The design is great, although I disagree with that kind of advertisement. They are pretty much scams.
It’s what I was asked for, nothing I can really do about that. Same thing to @AYMGAMER, it’s out of my control what I’m asked for.
I agree with @AYMGAMER I am not a fan of these adds but for people who are it looks really good the art is nice it looks good

I think the white dividing lines are way too bright. They blend in with the Wellz logo and the after sections too much.
You were left unpaid? As if these groups couldn’t get any greedier and manipulative. I’m sorry for that. I dislike these types of ads.
Honestly, I just recommend you to leave this all behind and start on something new. You were promised compensation and didn’t receive it. There’s no reason to keep modifying this.
But if you want criticism for future work, I think the green “After” looks a little washed out with the bright green background. I also think that the different sizes in “Before” and “After” is a little odd. I understand their lengths are different, but I think having the “After” the same size would make it look a little more uniform.

Thanks! I just started making ads, I hope I can improve. Making vibrant things is pretty difficult for me.
I really like this! The art looks good, and the colors used are very nice. Everyone is saying they don’t like ads like these, but they actually work rather well. Advertisement is just about making someone click, I do not agree with scamming but this really isn’t scamming, it’s just someone clicking on a banner.
Great job on your ad, sorry to hear you were left unpaid. This work definitely deserves some payment.
Thanks, every time I’m unpaid and told the work wasn’t good enough I just don’t know whether or not I should still try to make these, but I’m glad you guys like it. I’ll just hope I get good enough to actually get paid.
I like the art style and how the ad looks but ngl I’m really not a fan of the before and after ads mainly cause they look like clickbait or something. But keep up the work with the art it look great!
Do not give the ads to wellz until you are paid!!! So basically like almost everyone I hate those ads, but it looks excellent!

Anyways, the ad is that typical scam ad. I don’t like it including 70% of Roblox players.
The style is great though, great job.
A bit hard to see the “After” text but looks great!
Personally, as a clothing designer myself, I have no problem with these types of ads. I love the artwork, looks very professional. However, I noticed that it’s not HD, this could just be an issue on my pc, if not then that’s the only flaw I see.
I think it’s because of compression or something, I’ve had issues uploading higher resolution images to the DevForum.
I hate these types of ads, but the GFX itself looks really good.
Art looks good , and I cant really blame you if they commissioned you to do this type of ad . Overall 10/10 .
