As a Roblox developer, it is currently painful to put together a list of actively enabled beta features in Studio for the purpose of creating a bug report here on the Developer Forum.
Currently, as there is no way to copy any text, let alone all text, from the Beta Features page, one must either use OCR or manually transcribe a list of their actively enabled beta features when making a bug report. This significantly increases the amount of time required to properly report a bug, results in those reporting bugs often leaving out potentially important information from bug reports, and non-standardized formatting of this information.
By far the simplest way to solve these issues, in my opinion, would be to add a button to copy all enabled beta features to the clipboard directly from Studio. This would solve all 3 issues mentioned above:
- This would eliminate nearly all time costs associated with this aspect of writing a bug report.
- This would, through solving the first issue, reduce the frequency at which reporters fail to provide this information in bug reports, potentially making them easier to address.
- This would allow for some level of format standardization, allowing for additional functionality to be created for use in categorizing/prioritizing bug reports if desired by Roblox later down the line.
I feel that this feature would significantly reduce the time barrier to report issues, allowing Roblox and users to more effectively work together to address user pain points that currently go unreported.
