In the past few weeks, there have been multiple spam posts flooding #development-discussion and other topics with spam repeated words. Like this for example, (text censored)
That seems like it would flag too many innocent posts using the same word multiple times.
Hmm, yeah that could be a problem. Maybe make it so it filters reapeated words next to each other instead. So like “WORD WORD WORD” would be filtered

One thing that I haven’t noticed is action being taken in the forum at all.
It’s almost like the moderators took a break or something.
This for me, feels like the DevForum dark age. That is a HUGE problem.
This was mostly a spam issue, which is already something you can flag for, one can post literally worse content and it has and will continue to happen in the future, it is an unfortunate side effect of automating forum joins however only a minority of these users would do this so i think it mostly scales just fine. There are other issues but that is beyond the scope of this topic.
