I think “hats” like these shouldn’t be in the hat category, because they stop being hats when they completely cover up and effectively replace the head. Open helmets and other head-covering hats can go into a helmet category, as long as they at least show a little bit of the head or take the head into account in their mesh. The “masks” and heads shouldn’t be considered hats though.
If I were to allow players to keep some of their accessories on a custom character, I wouldn’t be able to differentiate between these huge monstrosities and normal baseball caps.
This change will expose the mistake of making most of these heads and masks way too big.
