Add Scale Property to UIStroke

Bumping this. This is a no-brainer and should be a feature. My UIs look awful with unscaled UIStrokes on mobile devices. Only way to fix this is to make a module that scales UI strokes for you.

Bump! This is a MUST-HAVE for developing on this platform

scale should be default; the current “offset” behavior is never desired

Dear Roblox Staff Member,

Let me just say that you guys have released many pivotal updates to the Roblox UI, like adding more options for TextChatService chat bubbles and windows. Entire objects have even been added, such as UIDragDetectors.

At Roblox Corp., you want stock prices to rise faster, so you’ve put a big focus on cross-platform integration, especially mobile($$$).

I’m glad to inform you that adding this feature would not only be easier then many of the multi-layered features you and your team have been working on, but it would make text with UIStroke applied much more readable for users on smaller screens, thus leading to higher user-retention, thus leading to more $$$.

The work-to-reward ratio here is almost too good to believe.

Love,

Tenny

I mean, personally in my opinion there’s been a lot of improvements of late, I think we might have a chance with this one.

i think the main reason is : backwords compat (older scripts using this if they added scale), but they can make a seperate property like widthUdim and deprecate width (or size idk im in mobile) for the studio only beta, and at 1st phase of rollout, deprecate width (setting it sets the offset of the width udim), 2nd phase completly remove width, rename widthUdim to width, idk

i actually meant udim2 not udim im lazy to replace i just noticed.
