It would be cool if the “links” section supported github profiles, so that programmers can provide a direct link to their code work & portfolio sites.

Github links are explicitly whitelisted in the #bulletin-board rules, so you can have a #bulletin-board topic as a middleman.

What about discord tag in the about me, so people can contact me?

They should instead support discord user links instead of tags, since tags are mutable but your ID isn’t. discоrd.com/users/X

We want users starting communication via a Talent Hub application - once in there, users can share their Discord tags with one another and leave the platform to go and collaborate wherever they want to. This helps protect users as the Talent Hub applications are a more controlled initial environment.

I’m going to add to this, many developers (including myself) use website creators and make our own portfolio sites, using services like Wix. However, many are blocked. It’d be great if it were expanded.

This is still needed as of 7/23/22! We still can’t link our github profiles on the talent hub!

This feature request is asking for a link under the links section - just like you can with twitter and etc.

Your Links are pulled from your Roblox profile’s social links (with the exception of DevForum and Roblox)
Now normally, I’d imagine it would be difficult to add extra links to a social links

There is already a graphic for GitHub in the social links SVG
There’s other things here as well that are pretty funny, Amazon, WeChat, QQ and Google+ are definitely ones I didn’t expect to see though I image they are used somewhere
If anything, I believe GitHub should be a thing we can set from our Roblox Profile, not just the Talent Hub.

I suggest allowing gitbook links too, as GitBook is mostly used as a documentation platform & developer resources.
