Add T-Pose to Skinned Mesh in Rig Builder

Title says all.

Current pose is problematic for a number of reasons:

  • It’s hard to make anything with this
  • Using other modeling tools, especially automated ones, want edges and whatnot clean (space space = more chance for collision = not clean)
  • There’s very little space near the armpit, other areas… which makes custom clothing a total pain
  • I make it T-Pose anyway and having this feature reduces that painful step
  • Manually T-Posing an RThro / Skinned mesh is the bane of my existence

As it stands, importing a skinned mesh from Rig Builder looks like this:

Outside of this, the lack of what to do with this mesh (not using Roblox defaults) is both concerning, tiresome, and honestly, is sad to see if you intend to push this. There’s quite literally, nothing useful on the docs.

You don’t allow me to export FBX so, I lose out on basically everything. Bones, skinning, etc. It’s all manual labor and that’s not right. At least, give me this one.

I don’t say this often but, I love you for this. I tried searching for something like this and couldn’t find anything. I wish rig builder had a direct link to that. Would make life a bit easier.
