Adding DualSense Adaptive Triggers, Haptic Feedback and Xbox Trigger Haptics to Roblox API

With the new PlayStation support for Roblox, I think adding DualSense adaptive triggers and haptic feedback support to the Roblox API would elevate the experience, bringing our games closer to a AAA feel. Additionally, trigger functionality for Xbox controllers (though present in the API) unfortunately doesn’t seem to work as expected. I think current haptics on Roblox isn’t enough for ps5 and xbox.

These additions could not only improve immersion but also encourage more developers to optimize for console players.

Expanding the haptic system would be great! I think the API should call back if a player doesn’t have a controller that supports a feature I am requesting, such as the DualSense adaptive triggers.

As a side note, at first, I thought you could do this already. It turns out I didn’t understand what the DualSense adaptive triggers were. I then watched this video for an explanation, which was helpful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaPHUZapCTI

Developers in the past have expressed confusion with haptics, and it is often overlooked. While I don’t enjoy haptics in video games (or from what I’ve found), I still think it should be an option with expanded capability on Roblox. Also, I assume you don’t have access to #feature-requests as to why the post is here.
