Adding too many contacts can cause frame drops and lag during the game

A large number of players have reported that adding too many contacts causes very frequent frame drops and lag while playing the game.
It freezes for a moment every once in a while and then recovers instantly. This happens more and more frequently until it almost can’t move at all, flickering on and off.

I noticed that some players block [friends.roblox.com] to prevent lag in the game.
And players who make optimization tools.

Many players have reported that when the number of “Connections” is relatively high, frequent lagging occurs during gameplay. This issue happens in all games — some players have as many as 1000 “Connections”, and the game returns to normal once they delete the “Connections”. I’m not sure what additional information I can provide.

Would it also be presence.roblox.com ?

There’s friends.roblox.com that gets your online friends

https://friends.roblox.com/v1/users/<user_id>/friends/online

and later it checks https://presence.roblox.com/v1/presence/users a bunch of times, over and over again.

Not sure when it decides to do that.

I wanted to give it a try, but I didn’t know how to do it, and it didn’t work.

Trying to block the IP with the firewall doesn’t seem to make any difference
